Roadtrip in Belgium and Holland to meet Porsche enthusiasts: XX and Mark Wegh
3-DAY PROGRAM:
We're going to be talking about unexpected encounters this weekend.
First of all, Mark, my neighbor of 15 years in the South of France, whose surname I've only known since this morning in August 2020. We chat about my Porsche 997 GTS, which I've just parked in the residence parking lot. He tells me I've made a very good choice with this 997 GTS. I take the liberty of asking him if he knows anything about Porsches. He smiles and confirms that his surname is Wegh and that he is the founder and owner of Porsche Gelderland, the largest Porsche dealership in Europe.
We'll be stopping off between Paris and Heteren to meet another collector.
These two Porsche enthusiasts are offering us the privilege of welcoming us into their home and garages, and showing us Porsches that few have had the chance to see...
Then we leave Amsterdam for Porsche Centrum Gelderland. And it's a roadbook through windmills and tulip fields that I'm proposing, with the help of Mark Wegh...
Visit Porsche Centrum Gelderland, Europe's largest Porsche dealership and the world's 1st Porsche Classic Center (inaugurated in 2015) with CEO and founder Mark Wegh. At the heart of this success is an unrivalled sense of customer service. Mark is also a Porsche enthusiast in his own right, but not the only one. He will exceptionally open the doors of his private collection to us. Afterwards, we'll have the pleasure of dining with him.
Just a 10-minute drive from the Porsche Center Gelderland, we'll be staying at the Hotel Van der Valk Nijmegen.

The next day, we'll be taking part in the 10th International Porsche Collectors' Day at the Centrum Gelderland Porsche Classic Center.
International Collectors' Day is the world's largest indoor Porsche trade fair. It covers more than 2,000 square meters and includes model Porsche cars on a scale of 1:8 to 1:220, as well as Porsche memorabilia (books, posters, magazines, brochures, art, design, gadgets, accessories, advertising items, phone cards, stamps, pins, etc.).
Over a hundred exhibitors and thousands of international visitors will be taking part. You'll be able to meet other collectors and find old collectibles as well as the latest brand novelties.
