Epicurean weekend among the vines
With this roadtrip, I'm taking us to discover this region that I particularly appreciate for its landscapes, its champagne and also its gastronomy. The weekend is organized in collaboration with Léa Crusel, founder of the store My Pilot Collection specializing in the sale of exceptional automobile collectibles around arts & crafts. And, as with every UNXPECTED road trip, there'll be plenty of great encounters to punctuate the weekend:

Les Amis du Circuit de Gueux is an association with three main aims: to maintain the legend of the circuit, to safeguard its infrastructure, and to welcome vintage vehicles and all circuit enthusiasts to the site. We'll be stopping off at the site to learn about the history of the Grand Prix de la Marne and the many races that took place there until 1969.
Christophe and I drew up the road books for this weekend in the middle of the vineyards. But at UNXPECTED, we like the unexpected, and these itineraries will be interspersed with stops to discover the local heritage.

In the heart of the magnificent vineyards of Champagne-Ardenne, just a few kilometers from Reims, lies Château de Sacy. Reflecting its refined decor, the de Sacy restaurant offers elegant, authentic local cuisine. Chef Andy Bouglé takes care every day to select the finest local produce from the Champagne region, and magnifies it in his creations that modernize regional gastronomy. Enjoy the sunset and the majestic view of the surrounding vineyards from the restaurant.
Your dinner at the sumptuous Château de Sacy will be enhanced by an ephemeral exhibition of artists' furniture displayed around our table.
Christophe, the craftsman and creator, will share with you the secrets behind his one-of-a-kind creations, and reveal his exceptional artistic approach, which combines aeronautics and automobiles.

To make the most of this dinner and the wines served, shuttles will take us there from our hotel.
For a luxurious, calm and sensual stay in the heart of nature, we'll be staying at the LOISIUM hotel, set in an exceptional natural setting between forest and "sea of vines". This establishment, which combines design and ecology, boasts a heated outdoor swimming pool, a Spa (sauna & hammam area, treatment rooms, gym), a champagne bar and a magnificent restaurant. with a panoramic view of the vineyards, where we'll have lunch on Sunday lunchtime.

On Sunday morning, we'll visit the workshop of Jean-Philippe Duval, the best saddler specializing in the world of Classic Porsches and Compagnon du Devoir. He has restored the interiors of numerous Porsches, from 356s to 911 2.7 RSs. We're sure he'll tell us about his work on a magnificent Porsche 911 2.4S, which paid tribute to the heritage and savoir-faire of the Parisian luxury house Berluti, and in particular to its unique Venezia leather work, enhanced by a deliciously amber patina...
