The F.A.T. ICE RACE is an automobile event organized by Ferry Porsche's grandson, 27-year-old architect Ferdi. He attracts numerous personalities from the world of Porsche, as well as collectors, to a 650-meter-long ice circuit built at Zell am See airport in Austria.
In January 2024, I propose a 3-day Road Trip from Paris to Zell am See to attend this exceptional event. The program includes : Racing, Skijöring, Drift Circle, Karting and full access to stands. departure from Paris (11h drive) with your Porsche equipped with winter tires (mandatory in Austria) or from Munich airport, premium SUV rental (2h30 drive)
This trip will give you the chance to meet enthusiasts in a friendly and convivial atmosphere.
For an unforgettable road trip, we'll be staying in exceptional locations and dining in gourmet restaurants offering wonderful food & wine pairings. Combining sport, pleasure and gastronomy with our adventure, offering the exceptional and sometimes even the unexpected with surprises that are my secret: these are the signature elements of the events organized by Unpexted.

The F.A.T. ICE RACE is the place to be for motor sports fans, especially Porsche and Audi enthusiasts. Numerous ambassadors and drivers will be present. I can already confirm the presence of Regis Mathieu and Mark Wegh....
Unxpected members benefit from VIP access: take a seat on the grandstand, in direct contact with the cars on the circuit. Stroll through the freely accessible paddocks, enjoy the car shows and converted aircraft hangars, or test your own driving skills in ice karts - on spikes, of course.
On Saturday evening, we'll be taking part in the Motorsport evening of the 80s and 90s, at Château Kaprun, which will be exceptionally open for the occasion. An unexpected moment with all those who count in the Porsche world...
In Zell am See, we'll be staying at the Hotel VAYA****, located right in the center of town, a stone's throw from the ski lifts.

Thanks Thanks to its location directly next to the Schmitten cable car, the hotel is the ideal starting point for a ski outing. How about lunch on the slopes on Sunday lunchtime?

Delicious imperial specialities await you in the new rooms of the "Franzl" panoramic restaurant on the Schmittenhöhe. Regional specialities and classics from the imperial and royal era are served. And even Emperor Franz would have been enchanted by the impressive panoramic view!
With its urban comfort, mountain relief on the wall, historical hunting and winter motifs, fireplace and modern bar, "Franzl" combines past and present. The dishes on the menu are also reminiscent of Emperor Franz and his wife Sisi. From Fiakergulasch with gherkin fans to original Viennese schnitzel and Powidltascherln (pastry pockets filled with plum purée), only the best of Austrian cuisine is served.
