A MAGICAL PLACE

In the heart of the Luberon, on the Route des Ocres, Ateliers Mathieu Lustrerie restores, re-edits and creates exceptional chandeliers for the world's most prestigious venues. Régis Mathieu and some twenty journeymen have developed unique techniques to ensure that every piece that passes through their hands becomes a true work of art, equaling or exceeding the exacting standards of 18th-century masters.

60 YEARS OF PORSCHE 911

Régis Mathieu's heart beats with two passions. They drive his taste for beauty, luxury and excellence: chandeliers and Porsches. His wish was to hold the first commemorative exhibition to mark the 60th anniversary of the 911 at the Gargas chandelier factory, established on a former ochre extraction site.

MEETING BETWEEN ENTHUSIASTS

After a 1st inauguration on 15/12/2023, Unxpected returned on 16/01/2023 to enjoy a private tour of the exhibition before it opened to the public, with Regis Mathieu. We enjoyed an aperitif in the private areas of the chandelier, followed by a private dinner with two other collectors who had loaned Regis vehicles for the exhibition. It was a rare opportunity to share our passion for Porsche, and we got some great scoops: the 1st specifications of the 992 ST, even though its release was far from official?
